A single mouse-click
from the Hybridization Navigator screen takes you to
a simulated false-color image of the chip. You can select
individual spots or search for spots using various criteria.
The image is a composite of the two TIFF image files,
adjusted for intensity using the normalization parameter
shown in the Current Hybridization panel. The color
of the spots is dye-independent and reflects the intensity
ratio between the evaluated (LEX.E) and reference sample
(LEX.R). If the array was normalized using a sub-array
(grid) based method, the normalization value shown in
the Current Hybridization panel is the average of the
sub-array normalization values. The individual values
can be viewed in a pop-up window when the average value
is clicked. You may browse the array, using the scrollbars
or the Image Navigator panel. The yellow box represents
the viewing window and can be dragged around its window
with the mouse. You can also view spot information for
a single spot or select multiple spots using a gene
information query. Spots that have been selected are
listed in the Search Results panel.
